1. What this page covers
PodMagi is based in Québec, Canada, and provides an English-language website for AI-assisted video editing. This page explains the information customers should receive about data handling. It is not an independent security assessment or a service-level agreement.
2. Security information
Protection must be appropriate to the information and risks. Customers should obtain the documented technical and organizational measures for their service, including access controls, encryption arrangements, incident handling and backup recovery, before sharing sensitive material.
We do not claim ISO 27001 certification, a SOC 2 report or independent penetration-test results on the basis of this website. Hosting in Canada or Québec, a dedicated GPU environment, encryption at rest and specific administrator controls must not be assumed without service-specific evidence.
3. Providers and locations
Contact us for the current provider list, processing locations and transfer safeguards; some providers may operate outside Québec and Canada. The business address is not a statement about server location. A customer processing schedule must document providers and locations before customer-media processing begins.
4. Media, training and retention
Customer-specific style training follows your documented instructions. Shared or general-purpose model training requires separate explicit opt-in. Uploaded media is not an unlimited licence to use your content.
The Privacy Policy explains retention criteria. The DPA schedule must specify customer-media deletion, return and backup expiry. We do not promise immediate erasure from all backups or a fixed period that has not been agreed and implemented.
5. AI limitations and known limits
Review outputs before publication. Transcriptions, framing, visuals and style matching can be wrong. Overlapping speech, heavy background music and source footage below 720p can reduce caption accuracy, speaker framing and style-matching quality. Content permissions, likeness rights, advertising rules and required AI disclosures still apply. A paid plan does not guarantee virality, accuracy or exclusive rights.
6. Report a security or privacy issue
Email us with a description, the affected URL and safe reproduction steps. Do not include passwords, access tokens or unnecessary personal information. We will assess the report and follow applicable notification obligations, including those under Québec’s Law 25.
